'The Work' one-on-one session 45 'The Work' one-on-one session 45The Work (45 mins) by Byron Katie is a simple yet profoundly powerful process of self-inquiry. By learning to identify our own stressful thoughts and limiting beliefs, and questioning them with 4 questions and turnarounds, we are able to find the clarity and space for peace, joy, and clear course of action. Anyone with and open and honest mind can do it. For thousands of years we’ve been told not to judge, but we still do it all the time—how our friends should act, whom our children should care about, what our parents should feel, do, or say. In The Work, rather than suppress these judgments, we use them as starting points for self-realization. By letting the judging mind have its life on paper, we discover through the mirror of those around us what we haven’t yet realized about ourselves. This is an Individual Support & Counselling program. Clients may access 4 Individual Support & Counselling appointments per month, max 1/week. ☓ |

Dinner with Friends
Dinner With Friends is our longest running program and, since 1995, has provided a place for people to gather around the table, eat a delicious meal, and socialize. Teams of dedicated volunteers prepare a formal three-course meal every 2nd and 4th Sunday evening. You won't want to miss this opportunity for food, fun, and even flirting, so book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Members are permitted one dinner per month, and you need to arrive by 5:30 to ensure seating. Vegetarians and those with simple food allergies can be accommodated provided that the information is provided ahead of time. Please call Amy at extension 2 before noon on the Thursday preceding the dinner so that we can prepare a special meal for you. Bon appetite! This is a Nutrition Program.
